2004 Activities

Looking back through my 2004 log on the last day of the year…

• Many hikes at Almaden Quicksilver Park.
• Skiing – telemark and cross-country – as late as May.
• Discovered great hiking at Mission Peak, Castle Rock, and Calero.
• Backpacking – the annual Talusdancers trip that went from South Lake to Onion Valley this year; the climb to Lamarck Col; the mid-October end-of-season trip to the Cathedral Peak/Lakes area.
• Photograpy – High Sierra pack trips, early season in the high country, fall colors in the eastern Sierra and late November in Yosemite Valley, among others.
• The Winter Grand Traverse hike
• Great trips and great friends.
