Yosemite
***I left very early this morning
on what was to be my first ski trip of the season – the plan was to cross-country ski out Glacier Point Road.
That’s not quite what happened. I drove through Yosemite Valley and was reassured to see snow at the 6000′ level and above. I headed up to the Glacier Point Road… only to find it closed! I guess they don’t open it until Badger Pass opens up in a few more weeks. Darn!
In any case, I spent the day in Yosemite Valley. I’ll post some photos later, but for now I will say that the Valley is actually very beautiful this time of year.
