Ironically, this photo was an afterthought. I had just put away my tripod (after taking a less-interesting shot) and was getting ready to hike away when I started thinking about a different photo. I didn’t want to get my tripod out though so I was almost ready to just leave. Then I figured I’d just carefully take a couple handheld shots. I took the first one and when I looked up I noticed the interesting trees on the left, which were not in the original shot.
