Yesterday I went back to Calero Park to complete the loop that I intended to hike last week – when I ended up on the Figueroa Trail by accident. This time I took the correct turn and completed the Javelina Loop, going out by way of the longer part of the loop that passes a small pond before ascending steeply to cross a ridge.
